Victoria Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire was born on September 29, 1959, in Lagos state. She is a Nigerian politician. She was the former Deputy-Governor of Lagos State from 2011-2015. Prior to that, she was the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation 2003-2011. Orelope-Adefulire is popularly called ‘Iya Alanu’ (cheerful giver). In 2007 she was awarded the International Public Servant of the Year.
